People colonize other countries because it makes their empire stronger, because they think they have the right to and because they think that they have to teach them Christianity. Exploitation happens very often when one country colonizes another. It happened so often because they think that it is the only way for the colonizers to get what they want out of the colonized nation and people. Another reason that exploitation happened so often was because the locals did not know better than to give them half of their food or half of their income. In these ways the Europeans were able to guarantee that they would be in a situation where they could only gain wealth.

Apology to The Aborigines

An apology is one of the most crucial ways to ensure that a relationship of one kind or another stays intact. Apologies are a surefire way to mend friendships and to regain trust, and in this case the apology is to the Aborigines of Australia. In this situation the impact on the Aborigines is quite large, however it makes Kevin Rudd and the population of Australia lower themselves until the are basically begging for forgiveness. This apology can't mend everyone's hearts but it can make a difference, this apology has made most Aborigines feel accepted by the new western community that inhabits Australia. Before this apology the Aborigines were still thought of as lower than white people, but now all people who live in Australia as thought of as equal. And that is why so many people are immigrating into Australia these days, because it's such a multicultural place; anyone and everyone is accepted. Kevin Rudd did make a difference to the Aboriginal community of Australia, and to the general community as well. His apology made a change for the better.

I think that this quote represnts me because in a sense i am not clever. But if i am not clever, then who is? Also if i am clever, then according to this quote i must be wise! I don't think that i'm wise; and if i'm not wise then i must be clever! So i think that i am clever, and that is why i think that this quote represents me.

I picked this photo because Albert Einstein is a lot like me in the sense that we are both clever. And since we are both clever that means that we're both not wise.
